Dr. Collins began his education at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.  He majored in 

biology with a minor in chemistry and graduated magna cum laude while earning his Bachelor of Science degree.

Immediately after graduating, Dr. Collins attended medical school at the University of Medicine and

Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School, located in Newark.  He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and advocated for the importance of quality primary care as co-leader of the Family Medicine Interest Group.

Dr. Collins completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.  During his training, he was awarded the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award for his outstanding leadership.
